Kort CV
My master’s thesis examines whether phobia subtype and baseline severity predict treatment outcomes in children with specific phobias who received one-session exposure therapy, using data from the KiBA III study. The study focuses on differences between phobia subtypes (e.g., animal, situational, and blood-injection-injury phobias) and aims to clarify whether treatment response is mainly influenced by the type of phobia or by initial symptom severity.
I am a Psychology graduate from the University of Crete (with honors) and currently a Master’s student in Child and Adolescent Psychology at Leiden University. My academic background focuses on clinical and developmental psychology, with particular interest in childhood anxiety and evidence-based interventions. I have experience in research and clinical settings, including my bachelor’s thesis, an internship at a Day Center for Dementia, and involvement in psychosocial and creative interventions (e.g., dance therapy projects) with vulnerable populations.
