Annelieke Hagen is a PhD candidate in the Department of Developmental and Educational Psychology at the Institute of Psychology at Leiden University.

Annelieke received her research master's degree in Psychology from the University of Amsterdam in July 2015. During this master she did a clinical internship at the Bascule in Amsterdam.  

After graduation, she worked as a junior researcher at the Amsterdam Medical Center in the department of child and adolescent psychiatry where she worked on a treatment study for children with obsessive-compulsive disorder and a cohort study for children with tic disorder. She also worked as a working group tutor, teaching assistant and junior researcher at the University of Amsterdam in the Department of Clinical Developmental Psychology. Since January 2019, she has been working as a mental health practice support worker at the Oude Turfmarkt General Practice.

Annelieke started in June 2019 as junior researcher at Leiden University on the project: “The combination of one-session treatment with an app for treating children with specific phobia”.  (Supervisors: Dr. Anke M. Klein and Prof. Dr. P. Michiel Westenberg.)
