Generalized anxiety disorder
What is generalized anxiety?
Someone with generalized anxiety worries a lot about various events or situations. Without any clear reason, they worry a lot about things that might happen. It is therefore also called worry disorder. For example, they worry about what is happening in the world, their own health or that of loved ones, school, and friends. Often, they are unable to stop worrying. In addition to worrying a lot, these children may also suffer from concentration problems, sleep problems, and restlessness. Approximately 6% of people will experience this at some point in their lives.
